It was such a pretty day at Pacifica we went to Rockaway Beach to watch the sunset. We decided to walk over to Moonraker and grab a glass of wine and ordered the Oysters Rockefeller, Dungeness crab cake, and clam chowder bowl. Everything was delightful. They had a piano player playing which created a really nice ambience. We decided to sit at the bar since it was the last minute decision. Had a lovely lady who encourages us to try the clam chowder and I'm so glad she did. That chowder had the most clam bits I've ever had in my life. Enjoyed everything we ordered very much and we will plan to go back!
Great place for a special celebration! Very well staffed, impeccable service, and all of our entrees were delicious. Recommend the sole, scallops, crab cakes, pot roast, and chicken saltimboca. Yum! Of course, the ocean view and the accompanying piano music set the stage for a perfect birthday celebration. 🎂🥂

The view alone is breathtaking—arriving around 4:00 PM gave us the perfect chance to watch the sunset unfold, and it was absolutely magical. From the moment we sat down, the service was extraordinary. My waiter, Daniel, set the standard for what hospitality should be. Our table was impeccably maintained, nothing dirty ever lingered for a second, and every dish arrived exactly as it should, perfectly timed and beautifully presented. What truly set this experience apart happened after I paid the bill. I was in a rush to catch sunset photos and accidentally left my credit card behind. Daniel didn’t hesitate, he came all the way out to where I was taking pictures just to personally return it to me. That level of care and attention is beyond impressive and honestly far beyond what anyone would expect. The service matched the beauty of the hotel, the restaurant, and the incredible people inside it. Everything felt special, elevated, and genuinely thoughtful. This wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. Special thanks to Daniel for going above and beyond in every possible way. I truly appreciate him, my birthday cake at the end was the icing on the cake, and Moonraker has earned a lifelong fan.
Moonraker was an exceptional dining experience. Much of the booth seating faces the ocean, perfect for watching the sunset over the water. Courses were amply spaced out, the smores dessert was amazing, and the manager / owner made several rounds ensuring guests were enjoying their meals. My fiance and I are greatly look forward to another visit once we're back in town.

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was really amazing. It was our first time going to this restaurant and the atmosphere was phenomenon! We will definitely come back with our other family members to share our second experience.
What can I say, one of the best date nights we’ve been to! Top notch food and service! We reserved a week in advance and were lucky to get a table right in front of the window with an amazing view! Calamari and jumbo prawns were yummy. Tried the goat cheese ravioli and it was amazing. Finished off with mousse which was so good. Waiters were very respectful and did a great job recommending drinks. 10/10 experience - sunsets from here are magical. Live music was icing on the cake.
The most beautiful place, view, atmosphere, ambiance, we had a live pianist this past Sunday night 3/1/26, he was excellent, thought it was a playlist of all the classical hits. Definitely coming back, and already recommended it to friends and family! We got a tiramisu to go for the hotel room! Yum yum! Chocolate molten cake was also extraordinary!!
